Through art we can change the world. -David Sandum

Twitter Art Exhibit 2015 is almost here!

Twitter Art Exhibit exists to help support charities and nonprofits with postcard-sized, handmade original artwork and bringing together a global community of volunteer artists for good causes. It is the brainchild of artist, writer and founder of Twitter Art Exhibit, David Sandum. He understands that the positive and influential power of social media, art, and collaboration to communicate and evoke action can make a unique and tangible difference in the world. Learn more by visiting Twitter Art Exhibit online.

As an advocacy artist, I’m especially drawn to this type of experience, and as last year, I’m participating in this year’s event. As Twitter Art Exhibit’s founder, David Sandum says, “Through art we can change the world“. I believe that we are better together and champion people who use their gifts and talents to make a difference!

This year’s event will be held in Moss, Norway and will benefit children and families through an organization called Home-Start Moss:

WHAT: Twitter Art Exhibit: Moss (Original handmade postcard-sized art to benefit a cause )

WHY: Twitter Art Exhibit was created as a vehicle for doing good through online community building.

WHEN: March 12-26, 2015

WHERE: Twitter Art Exhibit 2015 will be held in Moss, Norway to benefit Home-Start Moss.

WHO: Hundreds of artists (professional and amateur) from around the globe participate on a volunteer basis to help support charitable causes by submitting original handmade postcard-sized artwork for the exhibit. The event will be curated by Twitter Art Exhibit’s founder, David Sandum. (All proceeds go to the beneficiary).

About Home Start: Sometimes families need a little help to get their children off to a good start. Home-Start believes that every child deserves the best start in life, so they match experienced volunteers to families with young children to offer help and support. This support is free to the family and confidential.

It’s a privilege to participate and help in some small way, bringing attention to the need to keep children safe and support strong foundations to build healthy families. My postcard artwork for this year’s exhibit is titled: “Hope Lives“.
